Never received item, they never sent it but took my money. I had to have Amazon look into it. Very unprofessional.

The dagger is certainly not as strong as steel and cannot pierce wood or other soft solid objects. However, that is to be expected…it’s plastic, lol. It would hold up in a fight or if needed to pierce flesh as it is fairly sturdy and sharp. And because of it’s ability to pass metal detectors it makes for a good back up weapon. Overall it is pretty decent for $6.80 and you pay for what you get.
