There’s no use for this except as a weapon. Cops won’t be happy if you have one on you. Self-defense might make no difference to the judge. Instead – get a flashlight like a Mini-Maglite AA, about the proper size of a yawara stick. Then, when you are asked why you smashed it into the throat of the (censored) who came at you with a knife, you can say. “Well, your Honor, all I had to defend myself with was my flashlight.”

I ordered this for my daughter who is away at school. I found it to be of very good quality, strong but light to hold, and easily hidden in a pocket. She said she would definitely keep it with her when she is out walking for exercise.

Solid build and seems fairly strong but lighter than I would have preferred. It should hold up against impact well however. I have been feeling it out and I believe I would be comfortable using this. My only complaint is that I wish it had more mass.

Negatives:
. I’m not trying to be cute, it depends on what you’re looking for. VERY tough resin, this little thing is capable of serious damage. Very cheap (I paid more for shipping than the weapon itself). Small, easlily fits in a pocket or bag.

Recommend it?
Yes. Cold Steel does it again (one of my favorite companies). Well worth the money. This little thing would be devastating if used in a hammer fist, potentially lethal in a spinning backfist. It’s a weapon, pure and simple, and needs to be treated like one.
