Returned item as it was no where near the quality that I would have expected from Ka-bar. The knife just felt light and cheap and the sheath almost felt plastic. It was sharp though and in fact when I put the knife in the sheath it cut a hole in it. Was looking for a good 6″ hunting knife and this was not it.

The guy who posted to previous review is out of his mind and obviously des not know much about knives. This knife is of fantastic quality and does the job right. The construction on the knife is almost perfect and it’s a good sturdy worker. the blade does not at all feel “cheap” or fake and is of high craftsmenship. It’s made of strong steel and has an amazing blade. I took it out of its box and did a paper test. It’s razor sharp blade slices right through the edge of paper right out of the box. Lastly, the sheath. You have NOTHING to fear about this amazing sheath. It does NOT have a plastic feel. The only reason that guy from the other review could have cut a hole into this sheath would be if he was intentionally trying to. It is a nice fitting well constructed sheath. The only reason it feels smooth on the outer shell is obviuously because it is treated leather. The stitching is almost perfect and the rivets do NOT come ANYWHERE close to this knifes beautiful blade. I strongly reccomend this product to anyone who needs a durable, long lasting, reliable knife for almost any purpose.
