This knife is sick as Swayze, Patrick that is! Full tang, sweet finish, extra thick 440 forged steel. Definatley strong enough to stab the bones of Thor without damage to the awesome tanto style blade. I dont know what its called, I just know the sound it makes when it takes a mans life ;) Also quite the deal on Amazon, saw it for $70 at Big 5. Got it for around $35 on Amazon and I was all like HELL to the YEAH!!! Razor sharp right outta the box too, mine lost its razor edge after some use cutting myself but it made me cry black tears of joy for a brief while…

  2. With this excessively “heavy” knife, and it’s uncushioned handle (besides the handle being much longer than needed for the typical man-hand,), when I pick up this S&W knife, I feel as if I’m holding a chunk of unrefined, raw, scrap iron. Compare this S&W knife to the feel and balance and weight of the KA-BAR marine knife with the synthetic cushioned handle (which I also own), and you’ll notice the difference right away. By the way, the S&W came fairly sharp.

  3. All in all this has proved to be a great knife. VERY solid, and by solid I mean heavy. The finish on the blade is awesome, the picture doesn’t do it justice. My only complaint is that the knife didn’t come very sharp. This was nothing I couldn’t take care of and is not worth deducting a star over. This blade is definitely S&W quality. Definitely recommend.
