This lockback has a nice handle and a nearly corrosion-impervious steel blade. Made in Japan, this Salt I’s plain blade is easily sharpened and holds an edge.
In today’s confusing proliferation of folders, you should know that Spyderco is *the* company that has introduced many of the refinements and features touted by other manufacturers.
I love this knife and carry it every day. I live in a coastal area, and after four years it has shown no sign of pitting, rust, or corrosion.
Get it. Carry it. Use it.

I have not had a chance to try the rust resistance of this knife yet but I like every aspect of it so far. I removed the pocket clip and now carry it in my front pocket.
