This is a good hunting knife but the quality was better when it was US made. It is stainless steel so needs to be sharpened more often then carbon steel.

For the twenty-two bucks I spent for this knife, I could hardly have hoped for anything better. True, the handle is synthetic antler but it has brass hardware and comes with a fine leather sheath. I think this was money well spent. This is an attractive and useful knife.

This a beautiful hunting and utility knife. They keep escalating in price as they are no longer (?) made. It is a luxury looking, collectable knife.Proud to own it. Good old USA made !

I bought this as a gift for my father, who lives in Utah. I personally didn’t think it had anything to do with the Golden Spike historic site in Utah, but when I asked him how he liked it he mentioned over-and-over how it didn’t say anything about the historic site on it or in the literature. That being said, if you’re looking for a well built, handsome fixed-blade knife then this is a good deal. However, if you’re looking for some kind of “Golden Spike Commemorative” then this is NOT for you.
