Bought this knife on a wimp awhile back. Not great for EDCing and bushcraft, I now use it for fishing, outdoors & chores. The VG1 loses its razor edge faster than I like sometimes, and the hollow grind does not help. Restoration of the edge is rather easy though. Nice belly on the blade too. Perhaps one of the best feature of this knife is the handle that helps improve the cutting ability of this knife. If I could change just one feature of this knife, I’d change the hollow grind to flat or convex. Unlike the Sebenza which has a very slight hollow grind, the Ultimate Hunter’s is too pronounced for my liking. Build quality, choice of materials, design, leaves more to be desired. Definitely not my idea of an ultimate hunter. This is not a comprehensive review, I just wanted to share some of my personal opinions of this knife to help buying decisions.
